I’m planning a scavenger hunt for my nephew’s tenth birthday, and as part of that, I’ve painted some rocks to be found (and some to be re-hidden) They’re all scavengers of the animal kingdom. I even made an Instagram account for tagging if people find the hidden ones after our hunt.

WOODWORKING by @emilystjams.bsky.social is a book I find myself thinking about a lot since reading it. I think it just felt like the world the characters existed in was really well drawn. Everything was lived-in and rich. Plus it was just a super-fucking-entertaining read!

I only read 7 books in February. 2 of them I actively disliked (including one I keep seeing people claim as the best book they’ve ever read), 2 were mostly fine - good, but done more effectively by others. 1 was super weird short fiction by Madeline Cash, (see below). And 2 I will recommend. ⬇️
