Yes, and and something I use for checking online is: www.vote.org I've used this site for years, and you can also request an absentee ballot on top of registering to vote! It's all online and done in the mail (though I encourage everyone to personally deliver their absentee apps/ballots over USPS)

I think they preemptively sent me my absentee ballot request form before I even asked for it this time around. Really helped to jumpstart the process when I wasn't even expecting it to show up yet!

Vote.org has always been pretty reliable. It's always *more* reliable to call your town office and ask directly, but you can register through their site as well as request your vote-by-mail/absentee ballots! #VOTE www.vote.org

I STRONGLY suggest personally turning it in given all the shit with the USPS. You'll basically repeat the process when you get your ballot. I personally turned in my application and it was punched in as received and accepted within the hour. #Maine #VOTE

To my fellow folks of #Maine If you are planning to request an absentee ballot, or wanna track, you can do so at Maine.gov's website. It'll be mailed to you, but as far as turning it in, you can go directly to your city/town clerk and turn it in directly to them. absenteeballotrequest.sos.maine.gov
