Got an idea for Chapter 45 of WiS while trying to fall asleep. Couldn’t sleep until I wrote it down. Just reread it, it’s half French, half English. Apparently half‑asleep me decided choosing one language was future‑me’s problem 😅 At least it made sense to me.

Hey guys, just a heads up, we’re getting a really bad ice storm here. With the high winds and ice buildup, my region is expected to get the worst of it and we’ll probably lose power for a few days. So if I disappear, it’s because the electricity’s out.
