super interesting to me that, among other things, some classes appear to be exclusively unlocked in each path? leda had dancer, ranger, and troubadour, and now cai appears to have 2 mount-based classes to unlock and castor is a guardian, which i guess comes from one of the other 2??

noticing something odd in cai's first chapter... tialla seems capable of doubling opponents when she's adjacent to cai or peter, but her attack speed is only 3??? she doesn't double when she's not next to one of them though. and none of their personal skills mention anything about speed

back at it in fire emblem and it's time to start a new story last time i went down the path of women's wrongs, so now i'll take the opposite path of the goodboy and his pals. cai's story's up next!

now that i've been forced back into the obelisk room as eshmel, i took another look at my party and noticed something interesting: troy and eshmel's respective classes both allow for the use of white magic but NOT black magic. that's new! FE3H's magic-using classes always allowed for both

i've now finished part 1 of leda's path! i can't believe that leda's soul is appearing to be saved, in both a literal and metaphorical sense, by the power of yuri. there's some spoilers there so i won't elaborate further without rot13:

Gotta love the idea of Ralsei being the adopted queen's child #deltarune

In the top panel, it shows Queen looking at up, while her hands raising together, saying "I feel the femenine power"
In the middle panel, it shows Queen smiling, and said "And I'm so"
In the bottom panel, it shows Queen starts to shake her hands, and said "Accepting..." while looking at Ralsei well dressed with a dress with a fire theme.

Queen thought, "Finally I got a daughter"

doing dietrich's paralogue and whew, jasmine is really shining here. queen of enemy phase. love watching enemies' blades bounce harmlessly off her shield while she gets +20 hit and +6 atk to counter with. perfect for a defense map

just finished cai's paralogue and MAN, i feel like that map was meant for a flier but i didn't have any. if it weren't for leda's longbow, the guys on the lower path would've made it to the exit before my units could though that made it fun for cai/leda to stay behind and mop up the upper path

god having a myridon feels so fun, i forgot about this. people really keep approaching ludia like they expect to hit her, and then she slices them in half

just saw the B support for mu and olympia and oh my god this girl just wants to simp for pretty women and they keep getting emotionally troubled about it... though i totally get where olympia was coming from

despite not really having room for most of the recruits i had my eye on, it's still a good idea to get as many as you can, turns out. killing time by having everyone search can really bring in some decent money when you're sending 20 people out as opposed to 8-9

just did anatolia's paralogue! that was an interesting challenge, and i somehow saved everyone without having to reset! the music was good too, though i kept hearing one sound effect which reminded me of, and this is weirdly specific, the sound of using an item in paper mario 64

after watching dollip play the faces of evil, i now unironically want the CD-i games to be put up on NSO. i need to experience these games for myself at some point. if nintendo was willing to put up the virtual boy and even attempt selling a headset peripheral, they can do this

watching pokemon journeys and they finally got to the top 8 trainers for the final tournament. i'm slightly annoyed that everyone was introduced as a champion except ash. that's the champion of alola! recognize him! let him rep his second home

just beat cai's team. lordy that map had some SHENANIGANS, some of which reminding me fondly of radiant dawn luckily i managed to take out all the named characters on cai's team before cai himself. thank god for olympia's crit nosferatu or else tialla would've been left standing!

I love the Doronbo Gang #art #fireemblem #fefw

The main Saramis trio; Bonaventure, Theodora, & Tobias from Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave. All three posed and drawn in a way that calls back and is tribute to the Doronbo Gang from the classic anime, Yatterman.

Theodora being Doronjo, Bonaventure as Boyacky, & Tobias as Tonzura.

Their team name, "Megaira's Beacon," from when they participate during the Heroic Games is written above them.

had to come back to this line of thought because i got the leda/olympia B support and olympia easily pulled leda out of one of her moods again, but in a significantly gayer way this time "what is a rival if not a crush you're mad about having," etc. incredible support convo. they should get married

the idea of putting on plays with a handful of your units is really endearing, but the best part about it is that one of the plays uses the silly music from three houses

000

Saphire @saphire.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

finally unlocked the dancer class and i immediately noticed how it showed both male and female icons despite the fact that the class requires a special item and leda was immediately given the certification i guess the other routes will be given access to this class as well...?

i keep putting mikaela and mu in warrior training matches together because, with their current options, they're both heading for the warrior class, and it's really cute how often they'll have mu using an axe and mikaela using gauntlets

Saphire @saphire.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

i've become aware of the unlockable troubadour class and i think i might want to take olympia in that direction so i just did mounted training and gained some skills then i went and looked at her skill list and she knows a skill that boosts her movement??? where'd she get this???
