mine is a AMD Ryzen 7 3800X, so it's up there I think, especially for A CPU of its vintage. My CPU is actually reaching 4.3GHz in speed sometimes (it's base speed is 3.9GHz). I was lucky to get it to 4GHz previously, but that's usually when it chugged.

maybe once this AI storage apocalypse stops (I pray to God everyday) I'll invest in more SATA SSDs and fresh NVMe SSDs... for now, this is what I have to do as I'm running low on space.

The good news about the HDD failing is I could reinstall my internal BD-RW drive and use that to back up larger data that isn't "live". Plus booting is a lot faster without that failing drive. Next month I will start doing that.

Anyhow, now its functioning great - except I discovered the CMOS need replaced. Fortunately that's not too expensive, just a coin cell. This causes me to lose some settings like virtualization on each powerdown.

The throttling during usage was probably the CPU spiking to high temperatures. I hear AMD is good but you need a better cooler than stock. Wish I had listened to people sooner.

I had to replace the heat sink fan in my PC (only 20 bucks) because my CPU was hitting 65C while idling. Now it's down to 25C-30C idling and runs much quieter. Alas, one of my hard drives broke (it was failing anyway) while replacing the heat sink, so RIP to that.

I also will be posting more art and stuff here. I am excited to show y'all what I'm cooking up both game and artwise. The one good thing is this has pushed me to create even more. If I can create art during a time like this, then AI chuds have no excuse to post slop.

What does this mean for my recovery from catatonia? I think I'm gonna be good to go back to driving, I wanna give it to the end of the month before I do. I'm gonna keep doing therapy for the long term, as I am still getting better from it.

I admit posting this was not easy for me. But it took me a few days of trauma processing and finally actually showing emotions other than rigid stubbornness. I fucking cried about a bunch of things. Including how much I didnt' wanna go home from Quakecon... alot of my friends were there ;_;

The other trauma I'm going through is much easier to sort out because it involves a few people who actually mean well and are actually talking to me about it like adults... and aren't accused of doing horrific shit. It's still trauma though.

Even right now I'm fighting the urge to lock up and become unresponsive because I'm afraid she's gonna find even more ways to harass me and my friends... and monitor me like a hawk. I'm glad her vague harassment threats right before Quakecon never materialized, but the thought did upset me majorly.

This harassment, combined with country/world stage poltics, combined with other trauma processing... one day I snapped and I became catatonic. I haven't lost consciousness like that since 2014. Schizoaffective is one hell of a fucking thing people.

There's nothing I can do to stop _any_ of this except minimize my presence on BSky at a time I wanna show off my art more as a resistance against AI slop and fascism. I feel I'm being censored by someone who is claiming to be censored when she was removed from the community to protect people.

I'll say what needs to be said: No, trans people aren't groomers. Being trans has nothing to do with that. It's just we're a minority, so when someone does something immoral, it's easier to paint us all as such to fit fascistic agendas.

The elephant in the room is this person in question is trans. She retracted her admission and is now using being LGBTQ+ as a shield from her actions. As a trans/enby person myself, I am appalled at this. This just makes us all look bad at a time where our civil rights are being mangled!

Since then, me and at least one other friend of mine has been stalked for speaking out in the past/present. Every post of ours is scoured and twisted - even if it has nothing to do with her - despite blocking her and other people who have defender her.

There were sexual harassment things she did to at least one other person (who I have on authority wants to remain on the down low because they do not want to be mobbed). Given what I've faced, I'm completely understanding of wanting to stay out of this person and her crew's line of sight.

Back in 2023, a former friend of mine was accused to (and admitted, as I've seen the screenshots of her admission on her website/twitter when it was active). Before seeing the screenshots, I believed it to be a psyop, but I quickly retracted that once I saw the evidence.

I don't like TL;DR stuff but I feel this needs some explaining. I've been afraid to say anything that's been eating me up. I hate drama-riddled "manifestos" but I need to explain this to move on. TL;DR: I'm being stalked + dealing with some major trauma that triggered catatonia.

Might have found the source of the catatonia. Still gonna take it easy a bit while I recover, but I think by October I'll be fine again to drive.
