Should certain actions that contribute to climate change be crimes against humanity? Two communications to the ICC Prosecutor claim some already are: against Bolsonaro over Amazon deforestation (2021) and against BP's executives over the company's emissions (2022). This week I presented “Atmospheric Dumping: Criminalising Over-Emitting,” at Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies (Pisa). I argue that it is morally legitimate to introduce a domestic criminal offence of over-emitting GHGs within the framework of the global carbon budget approach of climate justice.

Enseñé "A Theory of Justice" de Rawls y "Harm to Others" de Feinberg. Creí q varios temas eran viejos. Error.

End of semester. I taught Rawls' ToJ & Feinberg's Harm to Others. I thought some of the topics were outdated. I was wrong. We seem to have forgotten that natural talents and initial social positions are undeserved, and that sexual orientation has nothing to do with the likelihood to commit crimes.
