I have worked with many organizations, particularly in the public sector, where the EKS cluster is not allowed to connect to Git. Currently, they use "Gitless" with Argo CD, employing manifests (Helm charts) that are stored in an OCI registry like ECR I look forward to future enhancements in Argo CD
