#TheLeftEye is kind of one long weird protracted date (what with Emile being a romance scammer), but this particular evening got a rare truthful reaction out of him 💙 Also still 30% off in the #steam autumn sale! store.steampowered.com/app/3811440/... #screenshotsaturday #indiedev #vndev #lgbtq

A screenshot of a visual novel, The Left Eye. Two men, one short and chubby with curly hair, one taller and slimmer, are standing together on the balcony of the Statue of Liberty's torch. They both look awestruck.

A text box covers the lower quarter of the screen. It shows a line of narration that reads: "New York City's skyline is a bright stab into the dark horizon, refusing to cede the sky to the gleaming stars over New Jersey and the Atlantic Ocean."

The whole image is monochrome with a cool blue tint.

yet another WIP for a (romantic???) CG for #thelefteye! episode 4 has a lot more branching and therefore a heck of a lot of CGs 🫠 #art #vndev

a very rough digital sketch of two men in a loosely implied forest setting. the shorter one is leaning back against a tree, looking surprised, and the taller one is leaning forward with an arm against the tree, he has a serious expression and his holding a flower in his other hand. the whole thing is in pastel colors, pink, lilac, pale blue/green

We've a bit quiet while we've been putting ep4 together but we have lots more #ScreenshotSaturday material now 🎉 Get ready for diamonds, dates and more disasters than usual for Emile & co... #art #gamedev #vndev #steam CGs by @sansorganes.hauntedtrumpet.com and sprites by @metonumia.bsky.social 💖

A screenshot from The Left Eye, a visual novel. The image is in monochrome but with a purple tint.

Two characters are leaning back on the pillows of a double bed. On the left is a short, chubby young man holding a cigarette. He is wearing a sports coat and sweater vest and looking annoyed. To his right is an older woman with black hair and a patch over her left eye, reclining with her head tilted up and her arms behind her head. She is wearing a coat and scarf.

The text box takes up the lower quarter of the screen and identifies the speaker as Emile, the man on the left. He is saying: “So when were you going to tell me about that bastard guard in Folsom?”

A screenshot from The Left Eye, a visual novel. The image is in monochrome but with a purple tint.

Two characters are viewed from behind, sitting on a bench in a park. They are sitting in a strongly-lit patch of sunlight filtering through the leaves of the trees. The man to the left is shorter with curly hair, and the man to the right is taller and thinner with slicked-back hair.

The text box takes up the lower quarter of the screen. A line of narration says: “I wonder if he was unhappy.”

A screenshot from The Left Eye, a visual novel. The image is in monochrome but with a purple tint.

A letterboxed vignette of an older man’s face is shown over a darkened office background. He is holding a 1920s phone receiver to his ear. A line of dialogue below the image says: “You know how it is. Business.”

A screenshot from The Left Eye, a visual novel. The image is in monochrome but with a purple tint.

A man and woman are shown in a bar. The woman stands to the left. She has her hair tied up in a bun, and is wearing a necklace, a dark dress, and white gloves. She has her hands raised as though explaining something, and has a serious expression. To the left is a man with neat, wavy hair in a suit. He is wearing glasses and looks irritable.

The text box takes up the lower quarter of the screen and identifies the speaker as Annabelle, the woman on the left. She is saying: “You’re about to buy the Rose of Florence for a song.”

Hiiii 🫶 I did most of this painting a long while ago, but needed a big break before I could finish the rest (which I did a couple months ago but didn't post) My boys Skylar and Corey as teens, with a lil quote from the story 😌 What do we think that means 🤔 #BurakkuArt #artsky #ocsky #originalstory

Text reads: "Today, the world will go on"
A digital painting of BurakkuHardt's OCs Corey (he/him) and Skylar (he/him) sitting together on a windowsill. One of the windows is open outward and one is closed with Skylar resting his knees against the frame; Skylar sits half laying in Corey's lap with his knees but and feet up on the sill, arms wrapped around himself/Corey's arm and shoulders hunched up to his ears, face obstructed by both his arms and his hair. Corey sits with his back resting against the open window, legs crossed underneath him as he holds Skylar with one arm and his own ankle with the other. He looks out into the space outside the window with a soft smile. The room they are in is pasted with old papers/newspapers and is an orange or yellow color, while the view from out the window is of worn down brick buildings and twisted electrical wires. The sky is a light purple color with faint stars, and the sun is setting in warm light glowing on the buildings

Corey has long hair that's been bleached and then dyed red, visible fading in the color showing bleached parts near the top of his head. Half of his head is shaved, and that part is a natural brown. His eyes are brown and his skin is a light brown/tan, covered in scars and bandages. He wears soft baggy clothes in dull colors

Skylar has fluffy blonde bangs covering his face, his thick nose and freckles still visible. His skin is paler, and has some faint scars/scratching on his legs. He wears a sewn up white puff coat and a pink skirt, with stained up shoes that used to be white and are full of doodles

Time for #ScreenshotSaturday! And time for a peek at the first scene of #TheLeftEye episode 4! Emile's getting close to pulling off his audacious con, and all he has to do now is broker the sale of an absurdly large and possibly cursed diamond... #vndev #indiedev #justemilethings #havinganormaltime

A title card for episode 4 of The Left Eye. The background is black, and there is a thin white border around the edge of the screen. In each corner is a stylised fishhook with a sunburst pattern around it. The text in the center reads "THE LEFT EYE / EPISODE FOUR: THE HOOK".

A screenshot from a visual novel. Three men are standing in a drawing room. From left to right: Clarence, a tall man in a dark suit, with short wavy hair and an angry expression; Emile, a shorter, chubby man with curly hair, wearing a light sports jacket, giving Clarence the side eye; and Alex, a tall man in a light suit with slicked-back hair, wearing a light suit and glaring angrily. The UI takes up the bottom quarter of the screen and identifies the speaker as Emile. He is saying "Boys, boys, settle down. What if we got a valuation from someone who isn't working for Clarence?"

Another old-ish concept for Petrichor's cover 🫶 I have at least one more of these to post I think :p #BurakkuArt #ConceptArt #ComicCover #BookCover #DigitalArt #Art #SkyOC #OriginalStory #OC

Comic cover concept by BurakkuHardt featuring their OC Erebus, a fish-like humanoid and elf-like fantasy creature who has pale iridescent rainbow-scaled skin with orange and blue accents, coral horns, and long pointed fin-like ears. The lashes of his closed eyes have green drops at the ends, and his teeth are sharp in his slightly open mouth. His brows and top lip are dark, but his hair is a bright glowing white. A set of arms (in which do not belong to him) raise a dripping gold crown above his head- the drips falling down and sliding down his face.
The background is a cloudy gray with gold wisps

(same as other image, but with the addition of a title;)
Comic cover with purple and blue water themed title letters spelling out "Petrichor By RemKin" the water escapes the shapes of the letters and spills out towards the subject of the cover; BurakkuHardt's OC Erebus, a fish-like humanoid and elf-like fantasy creature who has pale iridescent rainbow-scaled skin with orange and blue accents, coral horns, and long pointed fin-like ears. Emile is always working on the big score but he’s never above a bit of petty theft… In episode 3 of #thelefteye you may be able to relieve Clarence of his tie pin if you play your cards right 👀 #screeshotsaturday #vn #gamedev #indiegame #begaydocrime

A screenshot of The Left Eye, a visual novel. There are three characters on the screen. In the foreground and to the left is a tall man with a chiselled face and round glasses with a diamond tie pin. Next to him is a short, chubby man with curly hair, looking annoyed. In the background to the right is a young woman who is slightly out of focus, also looking annoyed. The dialogue box takes up the bottom quarter of the screen and reads: “If I just brush past him as I return my glass…”. There are two dialogue choices in the middle of the screen. The top one reads “He won’t even notice that it’s gone”, and the second reads “It’s not worth the risk”.

Drawing of @alinxhen.bsky.social 's OC Rena, a half-elf character, who has light brown hair and wears a blue-green dress and a bandana of the same color. She's holding two potions; the one she's looking at contains a red liquid, and the other is magenta. In the background, there's a window and a bookshelf.

Digital illustration of two of my oc's, Aradia and Leander. They're dancing together, Leander holding Aradia's hands while spinning her around. She is looking at Leander while smiling. Leander is wearing casual clothing; nothing in his attire tells that he's the prince.

An illustration of my characters, from left to right: Aradia and Leander. The two of them are walking in a park, it's a rainy day, and Leander is carrying an umbrella; he's smiling while talking to Aradia, who listens attentively. She is holding a bouquet of white roses that Leander gifted her.

A digital illustration of Armonía, a tiefling character. She has pink skin, pointy ears, and short magenta hair, her horns are golden and has a red ribbon tied to one of them. She is wearing a cupid costume, holding a golden bow and an arrow with a heart point; a pair of red wings are also part of the costume. Armonía is aiming an arrow in direction to the right side of the screen.

Leif has tan/brown skin and long thick dark hair. He's wearing yellow/orange glasses that make his eyes look golden brown. He has a beauty mark under his left eye and a cochlear hearing aid.
