This year, CROP fellows visited the Capitol to ensure those with lived experience of incarceration are represented at the heart of State policymaking. Fellows met with offices, gave public comment on bills affecting resource allocation for people coming home from prison, and built community.

We mourn former San Francisco Foundation Trustee Joan Lane (Board, 1984–1992). A dedicated leader, she served on numerous nonprofit and corporate boards, including SFF, Smith College, the James Irvine Foundation, and the Monterey Bay Aquarium. We’re grateful for her lasting legacy of service.
