I've heard people make claims that AI would lead to a new Renaissance, but I didn't imagine it'd happen like this:

Screenshot of a Tweet from Pope Leo XIV. It reads:

"In this era of artificial intelligence, it is becoming urgen to distinguish human art from what machines produce. There is an ontological difference, even before an aesthetic one, between art and what a machine can generate through statistical calculation based on millions of images created by others. Algorithms lack the spark of humanity. For this reason, the Church wishes to renew an alliance with artists and cultural institutions to safeguard our humanity."

Palantir shifting from hiring only "Ivy or Ivy-equivalent" degrees to hiring only out of high school is an admission that "training" and "talent" were never factors at all. They were looking for packaging & prestige, and now they're looking for ignorance & impressionability.

Tech companies launching their own programs to train grads because they ‘can’t rely’ on Ivy Leagues
By Lydia Moynihan
Published Oct. 1, 2026, 6:00 a.m. ET

As the university system increasingly becomes a wildly expensive bastion of anti-Western sentiment, key figures in Silicon Valley are betting on alternatives to higher education. They argue that even the Ivy League is no longer producing the best candidates — nor are they even accepting some of the most qualified students.

“It used to be the case that you could rely on somebody who went to an Ivy or Ivy-equivalent to be top notch,” said Jordan Hirsch, who runs Palantir’s semester-long intensive Meritocracy Fellowship, which accepts high school graduates.“But that’s not the case anymore… we suspected that there was a lot of talent being missed.”

The fact his fandom immediately jumped from being able to see the base of his neck with no shirt collar visible to "omg, are you SHIRTLESS??" is endlessly entertaining to me. King of managing expectations and working smarter, not harder. The most naked (allegedly) he has ever been on fromm.

Jongho's apparently actually* shirtless mirror selfie, zoomed in and cropped, with the barest HINT of the top of his shoulder showing on one side.

*confirmed shirtless by Jongho, known troll and liar, so who can say?

seongsang(+jjong) | 2.3k | E there are tragically no canon ao3 tags out there that fully encompass 'mutually consensually loaning out my girlfriend to get sort-of-fingered outside the club by a hot masc'... 🫴 archiveofourown.org/works/93403686

screenshot of an ao3 fic title and summary on a black and white photo of a hand. The text reads:

cherry sweet

Yeosang tried to put it out of her mind, after that. That was, after all, the point: Seonghwa and Jongho were to engineer the scenario over her head and leave her hanging in suspense, which sounded hot as hell in theory and was nerve-wracking and hot as hell in practice. Yeosang shivered and sweated through the next group movie night, and was driven half-mad with aroused disappointment when Jongho dipped out early. Work emergency, she said while looking straight at Yeosang. Yeosang was tempted to excuse herself to the bathroom for a minute or fifteen, but Seonghwa leaned her head on her shoulder immediately after the front door clicked shut and the movie turned out sort of interesting, in the end—nothing happened that night, in any case, nor a few weeks later at Jongho's birthday noraebang, or at BBQ the week following.

Yeosang was morosely convinced that they'd put it off until she really was in danger of forgetting it.

Chocolate-Coated Churro ૮・ﻌ・ა ~ Yunho-centric Polyteez ~ Magic | Hurt/Comfort | Found Family | E ~ 9/9 Complete - 171,000 words archiveofourown.org/works/66559357

moodboard for Chocolate-Coated Churro feat. 4 photos of various sea stacks and a screenshot of the fic summary in the middle that states the following:

Cursed to stay a dog by a jealous ex for being ‘too charming’ and flirtatious, Yunho went in search of a witch or coven capable of helping him out. But when he’s run off from yet another witches cottage, he stumbles all four feet and falls off the side of a small cliff.

Injured, muddy, and so tired, he pushes on toward the coast where a rumored coven full of dangerous magic users hold sway over the ocean herself.

Leagues from everything he’s ever known, Yunho just wants his hands back and maybe a new place to call home.

photo of yunho looking out at the sea just before sunset. his back is to the camera in silhouette as he stands on a rocky outcropping

final chapter 9 snippet:

He could feel her now, mere moments away from reaching the day's peak, radiating a boundless sort of energy that threatened to engulf him whole. She was excited, both for him and for herself, both on the precipice of transformation. For her it was blossoming into the life bringer of spring, continuing to lengthen the days and provide nourishment for all those under her care.

For him it was tying himself, body and soul, to a coven that would unquestioningly change him. By the nature of how magic gained power, any coven Yunho bonded with would've enhanced his natural abilities, but choosing to do so here, on this beach, in this bay filled with ancient magic, whatever Yunho was about to go through had the potential to be monumental.
