There are many strong older women. I come from a line of them. My Grandmother, Aunties, and my mother all taught me that we women have to stick together and to speak and act loudly. At 69 yrs old I’m still protesting, still speaking out. 1/2

I worked a “man’s job” too. If I was friendly, I was a slut, obviously, and if I kept to myself I was labeled a bitch. Half the guys wouldn’t work with me just because I was a woman, regardless of the fact that I was good at my job. Worn down indeed.
