When it cones to conventions, Pawsome is seen as a bit of an odd fish - as they say in the restaurant at the end of the Universe. If it wasn't held locally, I'd skip. Still a fun weekend! With no work holidays left, it'll soon be the grind up to Xmas. Over the hills and far away... #Pawsome2026

I'm going on what titles I can instantly remember off the top of my head. Although it was the 1993 Guyver OVA that first introduced me to anime as a media, I chose the 2005 remake published by A.D.V. as it follows the manga more closely. LOT4K was the first OVA series I collected on VHS.

Whenever I do the facial art for my YT, I just have to show it off. Also, I applied the face/body paint with brushes instead of speckling with sponges. Held up so well I didn't have to use sealant spray! Body paint by TAG Body Art Shirt by NerdyWave Apparel

QTP with a robot that's not from star wars or transformers. Sonny from I, Robot. This was on Film 4 a few nights ago. A lot of people rag on I, Robot, for being not good. Compared to the A.I. this is the better film.

Seen some users post these lists and decided to jump on the bandwagon. The opinion for these games are my own and also exposes my taste in video games. Link to make your own in the replies.

Finished painting an archer today. This is the colour scheme I'm going for. Still needs a little touching up to get the patches and "happy little accidents" I missed.

020

S. Brushtail 🦊🐾 @sandybfox.bsky.social · 02/04/2026

Obviously, not Golden Demon standard - there are patches I've missed and trying to paint individual studs on the jacket is REALLY hard - but this is what my orcs will look like when finished. If you are a hobbyist, give TT COMBAT paints a try.

After getting the paint off my metal Black Orcs, I found out that the bases are knackered. Also, the new WH bases are bigger. So they're going to need rebasing too. Good thing I got a load of spares from GW a fortnight ago.

S. Brushtail 🦊🐾 @sandybfox.bsky.social · 27/03/2026

Spent the evening stripping the paint off my old metal Black Orcs. After a 3 hour soak and a scrubbing, this is the result... and the paint stripper turned black.

040

S. Brushtail 🦊🐾 @sandybfox.bsky.social · 27/03/2026

I've made the decision to give my Black Orcs a bath to strip them down and paint them again from scratch. So this is the before photo.

Orc archers: primed! I did notice something off about the new Orc minis GW made for Old World. They're peices of sold plastic with a limited selection of heads instead of a multipart kit. Making conversion choices very limited. #redflag

Here are my skinks all basecoated and some basic dry brushing on the back scales. Gonna wait till next giro/pay day to get the paints I need. Now I can start on my Orcs.

S. Brushtail 🦊🐾 @sandybfox.bsky.social · 19/03/2026

All Lizardman have been assembled & primed. Started base coating the big Saurus warriors, but... Seriously, Citadel Colours, what the hell have you done to your paints? Gonna research what other brands there are. On the plus side, the rotating spraying stick and painting handle are a godsend!

Gonna be busy with these for the next few weeks (I got these from an independent model shop and not GW). If I were to livestream the assembly and painting of these, would anybody watch?
