While on a dive today we saw a giant octopus that was getting bullied by an even more giant lingcod 🐙

A big black bear wondered it's way through the lot across from us 🐻

Yeah getting real, "Are we the baddies?" vibes from that helmet.

I need at least four more for a proper season 😤

8 episodes of Lanterns wasn't enough.

At the very least it's a nice time of the year to go touring around BC! 🍂

Also shoutout to Fred, best character in #ControlResonant, and just all around a really great guy. He should really be prominently featured in all Remedy games going forward. I just love him.

Finished up Control Resonant and got all the achievements. Had to dip into NG+ to grab an extra artifact to craft, but was worth it for the Parking Garage and Karaoke sequences 😁 Incredible game though, without a doubt my top game of the year.

The Alan Wake easter egg in #ControlResonant is super spooky 🫣

Control Resonant is rad as heck 🤘

Boat diving is supposed to be easier than shore diving but I'm surprisingly tired, and my upper body is a tad bit sore.

Playing VS. Super Mario Bros at Showbiz Pizza had me hooked and I absolutely had to have an NES after that.

Bought a Perseus for no reason whatsoever, I just kinda wanted one 😆 Took it to a hostile DC b/c it doesn't care about turrets. Didn't find much, a pristine Tevarin and Stoic Suppressor 1. Boxes still not spawning outdoors 😞 #StarCitizen

Dove the HMCS Annapolis for the first time today. It's an old destroyer that was sunk to make an artificial reef. Massive ship and full of life!

People trying to sell Orison Relief event completion packages is wild given this is probably the easiest event ever to complete. #StarCitizen

Yeah they're kinda big so I was surprised when I could cram all the 1 SCU container. Maybe CIG forgot to give them a value 😆

I ran it in throwaway heavy armour so I could swap it out for the cool boss armours.

It gets a bit easier as you learn where everything is and that there are some places you can just run by, instead of killing everything. I've solo'd up to the 2nd platform boss and it's a lot of fun. Arlington rifle works really well for it too.

Took the aluminum I mined in Nyx and crafted like 90 of those TH-01 propulsors. They're super easy to make and they also take up 0 space so all 90 fit in 1 SCU container 😆 Might do some of those salvage missions now for fun and to make some more credits. #StarCitizen

Took my MOLE out to Nyx and mining some Aluminum to craft TH-01 widgets for the Orison Relief event. They've done some crazy optimization because Levski runs so smoothly now. Can't wait until the planets get added b/c Nyx is so comfy. #StarCitizen

What exactly do I win if I buy an IKTI from the shop? 🤔

Finished up my playthrough of Palworld with @ujm.bsky.social. Great game, a lot more fun than I was expecting. And Grizzlebolt is best Pal!

It's 12C and sunny, with a light breeze coming off the water. It's a perfect morning for running and it was glorious 🏃‍♀️

It's been a few months since I last played but noticed the performance in Levski has improved dramatically over what I remember. Wasn't gonna bother with the Orison event but apparently they've changed the rewards to permanent hangar items so I'm all in now. #StarCitizen

iPhone Duo starts at $2,999 in Canada. Wasn't interested in the first place but now I'm really not interested lol.

Took my Arlington rifle and hopped in my space whale to Levski to run missions for Recco Battaglia and dole out some frontier justice 🤠 #StarCitizen

They're really good this season. Trees were full of massive apples in perfect condition.

Honeycrisps are in season so we drove down to Abbotsford and picked way too many 😅 🍎

People got tired of taking multiple shuttles to get to the SoO platforms 😆

030

Katie Ujihisa @sandkat.bsky.social · 07/09/2026

Got a fancy all black Arlington rifle so did a Solanki run to see how I like it and...I love it. Great handling, hits hard, and good range. Felt like I was in a wild-west shootout while running SoO. It's a keeper! #StarCitizen

Spent some time solo fighting my way to Platform 2 in Siege of Orison to kill the boss and steal his armour. Totally worth the effort, this set looks sick. Hopping in an Ikti and mowing down all the baddies along the way was fun. The CQ7 toting NPCs are bullshit though. #StarCitizen

The CAVE shooters would probably be my first purchase if I collected Japanese 360 games.

110

Katie Ujihisa @sandkat.bsky.social · 02/09/2026

That's what I've been doing. Then I just run it solo so I don't have to worry about others looting the armour 😅
