When VR works waaay too well on Linux, so you just start messing with the compiler, like throwing `march=native` at it and see if it blows up or not

That applies to headpats too! Anyway, looks like one has many more reasons to have hands :P

There are apps which require a challenge before allowing you to turn the alarm off. E.g. I have to scan an RFID tag

The front of the headset is similarly transparent to IR, just stand in front of a mirror and you can see the inside. I kinda wish it would be just as transparent to visible light too, that'd look so cool :D

Sometimes its just nice to have the docker logs or ha activity tab as a visual background noise. Its like a gentle fan noise for my eyes, I know that those systems are doing their silly little things in the background And I'm just about to installs a few kiosks at home. Maybe even a smart mirror :D

This brought up an old memory of mine. I just discovered ComputerCraft. I built a fancy house. I was chilling in the pool and thinking its kinda weird and neat that all these computers around myself blinking away, operating my "smart home". And even now, I'm kidna doing that with HomeAssistant.

A sort of nature leaning outfit made for a friends #avali in #vrchat. Took rather long to finish it with stuff and shit happening, but I think it ended up looking nicely. But hey, now I can offer commission services for people. #blender #render #tehvali

This is how you do it when you actually want to make the world better ...rather than increase scarcity and profit off of it by making an unreliable service that shouldn't be trusted, especially when you're literally destroying the evidence, that it isn't just made up.

I found a cool avatar I wanted to set up and got reminded of just how easy the process can be if there's a .resonitepackage (equivalent of a .unitypackage) Made a recording to show just how easy it is

Earthrise looks a bit different from how I remembered it :D

Earthset captured through the Orion spacecraft window at 6:41 p.m. EDT, April 6, 2026, during the Artemis II crew’s flyby of the Moon. A muted blue Earth with bright white clouds sets behind the cratered lunar surface.
The dark portion of Earth is experiencing nighttime. On Earth’s day side, swirling clouds are visible over the Australia and Oceania region.
In the foreground, Ohm crater has terraced edges and a flat floor interrupted by central peaks. Central peaks form in complex craters when the lunar surface, liquefied on impact, splashes upwards during the crater’s formation.

youtu.be/KtQ9nt2ZeGM Extremely, EXTREMELY high recommendation not only for the truly mindblowing renewable energy discussion and scale of what's already possible, but also the very apt and well-timed talk on the topic of 'misleading' and overt disinformation. The post-credits is also very valuable
