overall, fantastic, 9/10, falls short of super in my books but still one i'd absolutely replay. fusion next (which i'm Quite Excited About Replaying!!) also i took a bunch of pics of the phazon lichen throughout the game because i thought it was neat. real lichen hours for you lichen fans out there

metroid prime is complete for the first time - i have thoughts and most of them are EXTREMELY positive, because this game is fantastic! the environment design in this game is brilliant, and probably some of my favourite in any media ever. phendrana actively took my breath away upon first visiting it

just finished Super Metroid for the umpteenth time, but for the first time on a CRT display, and this game looks absolutely gorgeous for it. sadly couldn't get any good pictures as a result, but the phosphor trails from the stars on the ending screen were the cherry on top

just finished Metroid II and i have thoughts about this game. amazing tone, pretty okay gameplay, not a fan of the sound design at all, and the screen crunch is jarring. also the placement of certain recharge stations leaves a LOT to be desired,, HOWEVER. that ending.

prepping for Ravenous so replayed Metroid (FDS) last night with a map. this game is actually quite fun and i also somehow got the second-best ending?? looking a little less forward to II: Return of Samus but i'll live i'm sure

definitely my WALL-E DS Kiosk Demo cart, spent wayyyy too much on getting it imported but it means so much to me being a rare edition of one of my first games ever - ended up preserving it on hidden palace too as a result!

4. Final Fantasy VII Rebirth (PS5) - though I started this in 2024, I didn't finish it until this year. No, the game's not perfect, but it definitely earned a GOTY nomination for a reason! Once Squenix releases Remake Part 3, I'll be so complete. And Sephiroth is hot. (Rating: VII Rebirth/VIII)

3. Sega Rally 2 (DC) - my favourite arcade racer of all time, and though I've played it a LOT in the past, I finally got past Snowy for the first time and seen the credits in my favourite car, the Stratos! The one time I accidentally put a blank name too! Fuck! (Rating: I FINALLY DID IT YEAHHHHH/10)

2. Mindwave Demo (PC) - a Warioware-like with a super interesting twist, and safe to say it has me hooked (and with a brilliant soundtrack to boot). I really can't wait for the game to properly come out, but until then, I'll be playing this demo again and again. (Rating: EXCELLENT! WAHAHA!/10)
