I didn't realize there was a Smaugust thing but I ended up working on dragons anyway 😅
Two HotD OC dragons, Azantys and Anogrion, based off of some of my favorite animals and both taking from my favorite dragon-ish creature, fell beasts. Is it fun seeing the design process?
!["There. Festival ready."
"Whoa... You made me, like... *pretty* pretty."
"You already were. But we're glad you see it now, too."
"Oh, and it wasn't actually free, by the way. As payment, I *demand* to know who you're so worried about impressing~"
//
"Hold still, dammit! You wanna get another bald spot?!"
"I'm hungry, Iria-nee! You're taking so long!"
"'Kay, think I'm done now. If they decide to put you up on that rock today, you'll have *way* cooler spikes than the Fourth's."
"Ya really think so?!"
//
"Are you sure you want it shorter? It's looking so much like... your mother's."
"She was your mother, too."
[She really tried to be, didn't she?]](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:6opi4juytp4prs77iiqljgqa/bafkreid5nfiearh3obixptxurx5s5ia5r6k57cyfda3ip5lonotmvt5agq)
