Worrisome times for what’s left of democracy. Even Justice Kagan warns of a majority giving away its power to Trump administration. The foundation of the US democratic republic lied on its check and balances, if two of those three pillars are not working we could basically lose the “democratic” part

Prohibiting lifesaving medical care such as gender affirming care should be child abuse —not doctors and parents providing the care their trans kids needs and were prescribed to treat gender dysphoria. Who’s abusing children is the US govt by depriving healthcare.

LGBTQ+ people and people living with HIV know too well what it's like to be targeted because of who we are, both in this country and around the world. Many immigrants and refugees come to the United States to escape persecution based on their sexual orientation, gender identity or HIV status.

No school or teacher would “secretly transition” any children. LGBTQ youth have the agency to define their pronouns and who they are. Their identities are not a “gender ideology” but their lives. Framing this as child abuse is wrong and inhumane. Abuse is forcing them to be someone they are not.

Several things threat safety in the US and none are undocumented immigrants. One, mass shooters mostly tied to white supremacist and racist alt-right, neo-Nazis hate groups. Two, manufacturing of GUNS in the US killing many ppl and children. Three, racist policing and defunding social services.
