That crystal of darkness Elidibus bequeathed him was long gone. His body— Well. The others had gone back to their bodies, and he had not. He could not.
Perhaps, Ardbert thought, that meant he was invincible.
The Ascian dropped his guard, and bowed his head to take the blow.
Bravura stuck where she hit, like she’d been lodged in a tree. Ardbert hung off her haft, dumbfounded.
Emet-Selch, axe embedded in his shoulder, let out a breathy sigh. His claws caressed the spike at the axe’s head. He plucked it away like a burr, and flicked the axe back in Ardbert’s direction like some troublesome insect.
Ardbert stumbled back.
He was nothing, he remembered, and the Ascian could throw him around like nothing. They may both be wearing phantom bodies, but his own was still…
Before Ardbert could finish his own thought, he felt his right fist connect with Emet-Selch’s cheek.

An issue when undertaking the Inconceivably Further Hildibrand Adventures quest "Meteorites and Meteor-wrongs," introduced in Patch 7.45, wherein, after the final cutscene fades to black, the screen remains black and the quest cannot be completed.
* We are working to expedite the resolution of this issue. In the interim, however, players who encounter this issue must close and restart the game client to resume playing. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.

“…The Exarch is under in safe enclosure, but he is determined to beat his head against the wall. Thus, he is near to escape. If he survives, no doubt he will find you in short order.”
“You had better hope he does,” Yisu grumbled. “Or doesn’t, I know not. You shot him.”
“To save you.”
“Thanks for that! Thank you for landing us in this conundrum! Work with me!?”
Emet-Selch’s tone grew grandiose again. He clasped his hands at his chest, as if cloud-watching.
“Have you confidence in the Exarch’s strength? In Hydaelyn’s wisdom? The prowess of your comrades? This pale imitation’s stubborn subsistence, its chances of survival? My certain, inevitable defeat…?”
“I am warning you, Hades!” Yisu reached into his coat again.
Emet-Selch disappeared from where he lay, only wisps of darkness left in his place.
Yisu felt fear in his blood, slowing time and speeding his thoughts. Something was very, very wrong. He had not the auracite nor the means to focus his light, he was well and truly alone, and if Emet-Selch meant now to kill him, he would be made useful ere he died.
My sword, Yisu panicked, reaching blindly for it, slipping in his panic—
“Your ultimate triumph.”
Emet-Selch’s voice was a whisper at his ear. Yisu could hear him smiling.
“To destroy every last perfect vestige of the world you once loved...”
