ugh it sucks sooooo much. We had an incident where mice discovered that we kept takeout packets of ketchup, soy sauce, etc. in the drawer under the cutlery. That was a fun one. (We don't keep takeout packets of sauce in the drawers anymore 😅)

man the 'ask abby' advice columns out there today are... Really bad. half the time they don't even really answer the question, they just talk vaguely about what they know about the subject and leave it at that, and the other half the time they misinterpret what's being asked and don't help at all.

I use heroforge for all my NPC references in my dnd game, it's incredible! The players love it, and it updates and adds new stuff so often. Plus players can make their own NPCs to send me too. I think there's even a subreddit dedicated to creating cool heroforges.

I needed that guy as a mascot this week 😩 I think our high was 33.5C(92.3F) but with humidity it felt like 44C(111.2F). It broke now fortunately, yesterday was actually cool (20C/68F). We can see these temps where I live but usually in like August not JUNE!

just found out my favourite thrifted pants I had to throw away because of an unfortunate stain was actually from a decently expensive brand and I can NOT easily replace them 😞 I think I got the pants for like $15 and the brand averages $200 for a similar pair of chinos 😭

Our realtor was impressed with how not-picky we are and we informed him we are in fact incredibly picky we're just really good at vetoing houses before asking him to show them to us (we have seen 3 houses in one entire year) By the time we get to him we're looking for reasons not to buy.
