Wasn't sure about him at first, but after this? I am now an Annasui fan. 😌

SAMURAITASTIC! @samuraitastic.bsky.social · 12h

I don't know why, but hearing Dio after all these years hits me like crack or something. Seeing this flashback again and I'm still all like "DIO......" 👀

Seeing younger Grizzly and Polar Bear in their uniforms is the kind of cuteness I didn't expect to run into. 😭💖

Both MAL and AniList say this new Keroro is, like, not a continuation of the original, but a new adaptation. But this first episode has me completely lost lmao - is this how the original adaptation started? 😭

I've been caring more about the small three, so the fact that there is more focus on these flat personality characters from the metaverse is...disappointing. And rinse repeat updates of Futaba wandering and being miserable on the alien spaceship sucked too. :')

SAMURAITASTIC! @samuraitastic.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

The pacing of it all is just so agonizingly slow. I was more patient with it in the first few episodes to establish everything. Overlooked how unappealing the CG style was for the metaverse or w/a. But when we finally get a skirmish with the rebel group and the aliens, my god does it DRAG.

Thunder 3 is gonna get a second season...? There's no shot I'm putting myself through that after what the first season turned out being. I forget the last anime I actively didn't like watching like this one, straight up.

B...bro..........chapter 20..........

SAMURAITASTIC! @samuraitastic.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

Me too, Natsume. Comparing Hotaru to a messiah and stuff, like...girl, now is not the time for this. 😭

100

SAMURAITASTIC! @samuraitastic.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

(ノへ￣、) Also I've heard about the whiplash of chapter 19 into chapter 20 of their band story, so I am...preparing myself for whatever that's gonna be. I don't think there's a way to mark for spoilers, so I'll try not to spoil anything.

SAMURAITASTIC! @samuraitastic.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

Man...poor Hotaru. She doesn't deserve any of this. Confided in Mahoro about her sythes...astia (I can't spell it rn lol), got encouraged by her, only to unknowingly make her feel inferior about the time and effort she put into singing + etc. She's only fourteen, like...damn.

100

SAMURAITASTIC! @samuraitastic.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

Natsume can be harsh, but if she ain't the realest one in the band rn (along with Hotaru, of course). AND AYOOOOOOOO

100

SAMURAITASTIC! @samuraitastic.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

Lord, how far is Houka gonna push Hotaru? The way she's just nudging her to get more and more involved in the band with valid points (Mahoro taking on too much work in the band, and getting Natsume back into the fold so far in my watching/reading) is insidious.

SAMURAITASTIC! @samuraitastic.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

Slowly watching millsage's band story and I swear, Houka be throwing hella red flags to me. A coffin????? 💀

There was a point in Chikai no Finale where I was like "Damn, they really condensed what would've been the period of time of S1 and S2 into one movie." It's making me half wish it was a series instead. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

SAMURAITASTIC! @samuraitastic.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

It's been so long since I saw the first two seasons, so I decided I had to watch the summary/recap movies. And I'm glad I did 'cuz I forgot a bunch of stuff. (But I never forgot how much I love Asuka though.)

Only watched the first two episodes of Stone Ocean, so I'm not at SBR yet. But hearing about the ending theme being not being anything that Araki-sensei recommended, and that it was produced by Dr. Luke is beyond disappointing. :')

Bro that shot literally crushed Ran. My expectations for this show was basically, like, silly kids sports anime. But the absurdity is the biggest pleasant surprise. 👏🏽

Also: is it still worth considering putting a webcomic on Webtoon as a mirror? Mostly to get more eyes on it / check out the main site. Also I am starving for more feedback atp. (Of course it'd help if I had a new chapter to put out, but I digress.)

With the way things are cooling down / not as humid, I think my straight natural fall-to-spring time is coming soon. 😌 No idea why I did it all year long last year other than I was on autopilot for no reason lol

Locked in and finished Dororo (2019) finally. I haven't read the manga or watched the older anime adaptation, but I thought this one handled Hyakkimaru's struggle with humanity though the latter portion pretty well. Didn't mind the open-ended ending either. I'd say it's worth watching. ( •̀ .̫ •́ )✧
