Wow. I’ve often thought about attempting this, but it’s such a Herculean task! I’m so glad I can live vicariously through you! Thanks for the write up. You mentioned that you hurried through Gen5. Is that purely because you’re an “impatient person” or do you have a deadline in mind?

For my birthday, my wife got me an Analogue Pocket so I could relive playing through games from my childhood, mainly the GB/GBC/GBA Pokémon games. With all my free time this winter break, I decided to do something that I've wanted to do since I was a kid - complete the Pokédex. (VERY wordy thread)

A collection of Pokemon games ranging from the first to fifth generations are laid out on a table, alongside game consoles capable of playing them.

In other words, debt.

🤣🤣🤣 I love this because I love Wayne’s World and I’m generally not a fan of product placement in media. However! …I’m willing to excuse thoughtful and tasteful product placement in the sci-fi genre because it’s an unsettling reminder that corporations will outlive us all.
