It’s good new re Wilson. Although there’s evidence of struggle, the specialist thinks it’s because of the weather. The tree is structurally sound & he’ll check it again next year. 🌱

Morning all. It’s a lovely sunny day here today & the beautiful nerines are blooming. The tree surgeon is due to visit this afternoon to give the verdict on Wilson. I’m trying to be cautiously optimistic. 🤞🏻😊🌱

I've grown them before in bottles that aren't sealed. They've been ok as long as there's lots of grit & kept very dry.

Planted up this old bottle with some cacti & other succulents. The cacti were grown from seed so I hope they will like their new home. 🌱

I think it flowered again in summer because of the extended hot/ dry weather & now because there’s been regular rain / cool weather. I had a few plants that have been the same.
