Also as @porkchopmcfatpants.bsky.social, I too am usually the largest person by 200lbs in settings, which already makes me feel overtly noticed and throw in if I’m dressed up I’m usually already in some sort of discomfort. Plus being my size and a healthcare worker, it does make things oxymoronic.

Sadly this is something that happens to me a lot. I’ve gotten better around those who I’m comfortable with or if I’m around fellow gainers, but I still In something that I’m always conscious about. I also equate it to a societal trauma response to the “taboo”ness of being obese/super obese.
