2am and I'm looking at my old house on Rightmove. A year ago today it was sold. 8 years of memories, the first place I properly felt at home and the place I cared for the two people who were more like parents to me than my own. Memories come with you though, I guess. They're not stuck in one place.

This time last year I was visiting my Great Grandad in hospital for what would be the last 2 weeks of his life. He'd been in a care home for 2 years because of dementia. His daughter/my Nan and her siblings all paid towards his care, she's 80 herself. Can confirm I got a bit teary.
