We’ve published a new Comment on how today’s political climate is shaping migration & health research. When funding is cut & evidence sidelined, policy drifts from data, inequities deepen & health systems weaken. @profkarlblanchet.bsky.social www.thelancet.com/journals/lan...

So sad to be missing this! If any of you are lucky enough not to have other commitments late June and are interested in psychological networks, I would highly recommend the summer school (below) organised by @omidvebrahimi.bsky.social (who has the amazing skill of making complex topics accessible!)

Not sure how to feel about this.. To be fair, my @quantitude.bsky.social minutes might look high, but based on the average length of an episode that’s only about two episodes. Thx for introducing me to this @omidvebrahimi.bsky.social. You’ve created a monster..

Main take-away messages from Day 0 #GSMERH2025: Migration health needs networks not silos, real community engagement, & research that serves policy & people. Shift the narrative from burden to resilience, root work in anti-racism & solidarity, and protect the next generation of researchers. 🌍

1st post 🎉about me: I’m a Postdoc with an interest in better understanding the mental health treatment gap between individuals with a migrant background and the majority pop. Ultimately I’m motivated by tackling inequalities in mental health. Hoping to connect with other relevant people here!
