Sam Cornish @samliamcornish.bsky.social · 09/12/2024For real mate. Would love to erase this week from my memory if possible. 010

Sam Cornish @samliamcornish.bsky.social · 21/11/2024Not meaningless if you need to win them to get there 🤷♂️ 100
Sam Cornish @samliamcornish.bsky.social · 20/11/2024Haha do as you like mate. But you have to wear a retro shirt or people won’t know you’re buzzing. 110
Sam Cornish @samliamcornish.bsky.social · 20/11/2024I think the simple route to less games is to stop expanding these tournaments. We don’t need a bigger CL, World Club Cup or World Cup. The last few tournaments have seen some big sides miss out and if they can’t qualify they don’t deserve to be there. 000
Sam Cornish @samliamcornish.bsky.social · 20/11/2024Yeah I don’t think there’s any coincidence there. 010
Sam Cornish @samliamcornish.bsky.social · 20/11/2024Yeah agree again. All I’ll say as growing up in Australia, when my team played in it I was absolutely buzzing at the thought of playing a European giant. Think the South American clubs and Asian clubs feel the same. 100
Sam Cornish @samliamcornish.bsky.social · 20/11/2024I have no data to back it up but feels like loads more injuries and teams being stretched thinner than ever. The change to European football has been a downgrade for me, other than having four away days. Just given clubs another opportunity to charge us £60 for a group game. 110
Sam Cornish @samliamcornish.bsky.social · 20/11/2024Yeah that’s fair enough, but I don’t think the nations that historically have been successful should get a free ride into every tournament. Just needs to be less games, both club and international in my opinion. 100
Sam Cornish @samliamcornish.bsky.social · 20/11/2024Yeah I agree with you there. I think there’s too much football full stop. Every authority wants their games to have meaning and jeopardy when that’s just not the reality, especially when you keep adding games. 100
Sam Cornish @samliamcornish.bsky.social · 20/11/2024You definitely can, just my meaningless hot take 110
Sam Cornish @samliamcornish.bsky.social · 20/11/2024I agree there’s too many games. But there’s also too much club football at the moment. Think this opinion outdated the Nations League though. 110
Sam Cornish @samliamcornish.bsky.social · 20/11/2024My football hot take is you can’t be buzzing when the World Cup ticks around and wear a retro Italia 90 shirt if you moaned about every international break to get there. 9632
Sam Cornish @samliamcornish.bsky.social · 20/11/2024Complete drop off of any sort of meaningful engagement. Default response was for people to be awful to each other. I’ll still have my account, but won’t be making any sort of effort to post there. 1120

Sam Cornish @samliamcornish.bsky.social · 19/11/2024Well make it happen mate! For both of those things! 110
Sam Cornish @samliamcornish.bsky.social · 19/11/2024100% agree mate. Squad is short of where it needs to be for us to be consistently killing teams imo. 000
Sam Cornish @samliamcornish.bsky.social · 18/11/2024Gordon but I wouldn’t say no to Bellingham either haha 100
