Once stubbed my toe so hard the nail turned black. When I did it — in the half-second before the pain arrived at the station — I literally gave a quiet little "oh no"

I'm sure Dems feel that way in retrospect, but right up to Election Day there was a "why bother" air about it. I had a senior state GOP official tell me "okay, off the record, Clinton is going to win this election, and..." etc. McConnell's SCOTUS maneuver looked toothless right up to Nov 8.

In March, renewables produced more than a third of US electricity for the first time ever, even overtaking gas generation! Wind and solar combined reached over a quarter (26%) for the first time.

When I moved back to Michigan in 2018, a three-pound pack of ground turkey cost $9.99. This week, the same grocery chain was selling precisely the same size and brand for $17.99. Voters are going to hate that no matter what CPI says

"As a member of the press, I filmed the church protest a few weeks ago and now I'm being arrested for that," Indipendent journalist Georgia Fort said. "It's hard to understand how we have a Constitution, Constitutional rights, when we can just be arrested for being a member of the press."
