I've noticed that streaming is one of the reasons people's attention spans deteriorate rapidly. Rather than taking a closer listen, one just skips a song for any reason or changes to something else. I do that too regularly, on Bandcamp, but grew up with vinyl and cassettes, so I know the difference.
