Writing a book is not thinking about writing the book, it is certainly not complaining about writing a book, & it is not (just) painstakingly assembling the data for the book. Sometimes writing is just that, writing. Might as well do it in a vibey coffee shop between meetings and daycare pick up.

Trying to show up more in spaces where I feel heard and seen and can offer that to others. Today it’s the cultural collective meeting for bipoc faculty (which includes invites for some cool initiatives!)
