We never actually bought a nice table in our bonus room when we moved in but our $30 one was finally breaking so we decided to go look around for a good one. Ended up scoring a $600 table for $150 because we stopped into The Brick Outlet right when they were starting a flash sale on coffee tables 🙂

Last year when I chose plants for my garden, my mom told me to buy this Ligularia for a shady corner even though the care instructions said it wants full sun. She swore to me that full sun was a lie. It’s the biggest plant in my garden this year by a mile. Moms know best. *iced tea can for scale

The vote splitting in Edmonton is so frustrating. I don’t think it’s fair to ask everyone to vote strategically because you should always vote for who best represents your values, but it sucks because we do that and then majority of us are represented by an MP we didn’t want.
