Your calico is beautiful! Some ask if my tabby tom is her seeing eye brother. But Katydid always scoffs at that then barrels across the apartment.

My immediate family likes to tease that Katydid has ‘empty eyes’ likes she has no thoughts. Not in a mean way but a teasing way, because she is blind. But she does have expressions with her eyes. They are just more subtle than a seeing cat.

On the rare night I come home after curfew I pull up to see Echo watching from the window, glaring at me.

Taking the pet first aid and cpr class yesterday reminded me that it’s been a bit since I’ve checked our emergency go bag. Of course both Katydid and Echo had to ‘help’. Got some fresh stuff added and everything better organized.

I’m really glad I was able to scrounge up the money to take the pet emergency and cpr class this morning. Here is a handy handout they gave us, and the notes I took. I did order the first aid book and kit.

4th grade has FINALLY finished the biome project! Using library books they researched a biome, made a collage of it, researched the animals that live there, made a foam plate print, AND had to write 5 facts on a notecards. We’ve been at this for 6 weeks.

I followed a coworker home after school to teach her how to trim her new cat Fjord’s claws. He wasn’t too sure about me but I gave him kisses.

The blanket for my SIL is done. But Katydid has fallen in love with the blanket. I’m going to have use the scraps to make one for her. Otherwise SIL might have to fight her for this one.
