Absolutely agree. However, and I think this is an important distinction, he did didn’t have sex with children. And he didn’t use the office to enact policies that are the most corrupt insider trading that we’ve ever seen in a high office.

It wasn’t just the tariffs. They were bad enough. But the US wanted control over Canada steel tariffs on other countries. French language off of products and media, a ban on the “Buy Canada” campaign, & they wanted complete access to Canadian minerals & oil. It became a question of sovereignty.

Long time Christian here in the midst of deconstructing my faith. Why is God held to a different standard than we are? If we saw a child being hurt, and had the power to stop it, and didn’t, we would be charged with a crime.

If it is possible for all three parts of the government to fail, then it’s not a good structure. Congress was able to stop Obama from appointing judges. Electoral college? dreadful. Constitution allowed Citizens United. There’s a reason our structure hasn’t been copied anywhere.
