I’ve used a similar workflow for past pods (Riverside + premiere). I want to like the web editor and fix up things there so I can fine comb in premiere, but i usually end up starting from scratch in Premiere anyway with the raw files. It’s never been quite enough

Do you prefer cutting/editing in Premiere?

Why is it better that Zuck is on X? Outside technology, finance and maybe sports, what niche better or could be better? Is that all that matters to Taylor? Is Gen Z and Alpha on X? If not, is it better because rich millenials and gen Xers dominate the platform? Anyway! Not very journo-y of her

Behind Closed Doors, John Fetterman Shows Little Interest in the Work of a Senator
The first-term senator, poised to be a possible swing vote, churns through staff as he alienates fellow Democrats and defends Israel.

I like the piece. However, I’ve yet to see one of these “get off X” essays address some of the niche interests that remain stronger on X like finance, tech and sports. I think things like sports are coming along here, but people really do stay on the platform for those interests. Hard to give up

Fair enough. People should care! I didn’t come away from that story thinking less of anyone, it just felt like oh well, these are some of the consequences that’ll play out. Also, good writing. Felt like a throwback.

Doesn’t sound like they’ve grappled with the reasons for their demise. Fuck Paulson stickers but Trump is politics this Klima guy (still) doesn’t want to get into. They just know the jobs are never coming back.

Qasim should be better than this. Something that Chris Rufo character would do, in a different context. Don't need to use the same online outrage tactics to make a mountain out of a mole hill. Plenty of real problems to focus on..

This book is as insightful as people claimed. Homelessness is one of those issues people see some stats on, then move on. This grounds those stats in real life experiences, but names and faces to numbers. Finished reading: There Is No Place for Us by Brian Goldstone 📚

Sam Fiske @samfiske.net · 29/03/2026
Idk dude he’s a political commentator with a twitch stream. He has a decently-sized younger audience, exposing new people to politics. Does there need to be much more thought to his influence than that? Calling his followers a cult is not accurate
