I’m so excited to finally say I’ll soon be joining Manchester Jewish Museum as their Curator (not that I’ve been keeping it secret well!)!! This is a dream role, sparked after using the museum’s collection for research years ago. I hope to serve Manchester’s rich and diverse Jewish history well!

had a great time at the Divergent Minds in the Archive Workshop today at Liverpool Central Library. Some really productive conversations about barriers for neurodiversity in using or working with archives - and conversations with really lovely people as well! #neurodiveristy #archives #inclusion
Picture of a conference or event room, with a projector screen in the centre of the picture. The screen content reads Divergent Minds in the Archive Workshop. There are tables and chairs in the foreground. On the tables are available variety of pens.

Had a great day running tech for the @ukdishisthub.bsky.social 2025 Connecting and Sharing event today. I feel very lucky to be able to learn about so many great projects, research and people working in this field - the Hub is a small part of a rich landscape of exciting work. 1/4

Great day at Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery for the @museumsassociation.org communities and collections network. Great to connect with colleagues and share @paraheritage.bsky.social’s work. Really enjoyed the Made in Birmingham and Elephant in the Room displays - worth a visit! #museums

Had a great time at the @museumsassociation.org Designing Great Exhibitions conference today. These events are important opportunities to network and learn from the amazing exhibitions being put on from other museums. #musuems #heritage #GLAM
A colour image of conference stage. In the focus of the image, there is a large screen on a wall with a presentation, reading ‘Show Time: Designing Great Exhibitions. 12th March 2025. Barbican.’ There is also a QR code on the screen, and the logo of the Museums Association. Around the screen is a black wall and black curtains. In below the screen are three blue chairs, and a table. There are glasses and a water jug on the table, and microphones on the chairs. To the right of the screen are two women, standing by a podium. The podium has vertical text on the front, which reads ‘Barbican.’ The women are wearing grey shirts and black trousers. In the foreground of the image, there are rows of plush dark grey seats. To the left, we can see a man who has his back to the camera. He is wearing a black baseball cap, glass, and black shirt. We cannot see his face.

That feeling when your wedding photos drop
Signing of a Ketubah (Jewish wedding document). The bride (Susy) and groom (sam) are sat at a table, facing a group of people.

Sam makes the devil horn hand sign (pointer and pinky finger pointed out, other fingers and thumb folded in) and has a smile on his face. He is wearing a green suit, orange tie, and a white and black Tallis (Jewish ceremonial clothing). To his left is Susy, in a white bridal dress. She is reaching over the table, laughing.

Like that, the Glasgow chapter of my life has ended! Graduated today, a year after I handed in my thesis, and just over 5 years since the PhD started. Couldn’t have done it without my wonderful wife, family, friends, supervisors, colleagues, and interviewees. #PhDone @uofglasgow.bsky.social

Wonderful to attend the opening of ‘Invisible Cabaret’ at Aylesbury Waterside. This gallery brings together 5 disabled artists who drew on the collections of the National Disability Arts Collection & Archive, and the National Paralympic Heritage Trust. #Disability #Art #DisHist #GLAM #Aylesbury
An object sits on a table. It is wooden block with gears and cranks, which are attached to a head and a foot. When the handle is turned, the gear moves, causing the head to spin and the leg to move. The object is made of wood. Above the object are information boards about the gallery, artists, partners and more. These boards are titled ‘Archive Stories Collective Exhibition - Invisible Cabaret. 18th to 30 Nov.’Piece of artwork, made of a green fabric. The top of the fabric has a yellow speech bubble, with jagged edges, which contains black writing. The writing states “The problem with normal people is that they don’t exist”. Below this is a hand giving a thumbs up. The skin of the hand is pink.An image of 5 people sitting in front of a stage in seats, looking at each other and listening. They are placed in front of a stage, which has a screen. Across the screen is written ‘Invisible Cabaret’. To the side of the stage is a BSL interpret, mid movement. In the foreground. There is a man sat in an orange chair watching the five people speak.A zoomed out picture showing multiple parts of the exhibition. From right to left is, two information boards on the wall about the exhibition, and a wooden object. It is wooden block with gears and cranks, which are attached to a head and a foot. When the handle is turned, the gear moves, causing the head to spin and the leg to move. The object is made of wood. To the right are some headphones, text on the wall, and flowers. The flowers have yellow petals, and besides them are white phamplets. To the right are three silver cans, and more text and artworks on the wall. These artworks are too far away to make out in detail, but are yellow and pink in colour. To the right, towards the end of the table, are more frammed images on the wall, and two TV screens.
