What aperture do you think this image was taken at? Most people suggest landscape images are taken at f/8-11. When shooting aerial image from a helicopter it can often be beneficial to shoot at f/2.8. Due to the distance to the subject - everything is in focus.#helicopter #aerial #aerialphotography

If you're using an ultra-wide angle lens and there's nothing interesting in the foreground at the beach, try slowing down your shutter speed (you may need an ND filter). This will allow you to capture the movement of the water, creating a dynamic and engaging foreground. Point Ronald, Victoria.

On the walk to a waterfall I came across this bend in the creek. I spent over an hour in this small area. I not sure why I was so captivated, but it was so serene. Although not a grand landscape I was so content finding every angle to shoot. It made me excited to be a landscape photographer.

If you want to take to the air via helicopter or light plane to see the Great Ocean Road - go in the warmer months as there is usually less cloud cover. Try to book a spot as close to sunset as possible. To do this you may need to book a doors off helicopter or plane flight. 1/3
