happy umineko day.

My edit of the iconic ‘I am once again asking for your financial support’ Bernie Sanders meme. He is edited to look like Kinzo Ushiromiya and the subtitle is changed to ‘I am once again asking for you to read Umineko.’ Golden butterflies are shown fluttering around him. The Bernie watermark at the upper-right corner is left unchanged as a subtle nod to Umineko’s ‘Bernie’ (Bernkastel).

taking a break from posting art this week! trying to do a ‘7 weeks of art - 1 week of me chilling’ cycle kind of thing. as blue dabba dee dabba doo here says ‘grown-ups don’t rush into things. they act with class’. something that doesn’t apply to me but it can’t hurt to try 😭

no chiikawa holding it in doesn't do anything !!!!!

My fan art of Blue Oak Pokémon with Chiikawa in his arms. He tells them ‘I think we’re gonna have to kill this guy, Chii’ with a frustrated expression on his face. Chiikawa is in tears as they reply with a ‘Ya da!’, which is Japanese for ‘No’ and can also be interpreted as ‘Don’t wanna!’ This was inspired by the iconic “I think we’re gonna have to kill this guy, Steven” “Damn” comic panel meme by Haus of Decline.

i went to the 'music of square enix' concert and got to meet some cool cats.

A photo of me with gaming musical legends composers Yasunori Nishiki, Yoko Shimomura and conductor Eric Roth. They were each holding my fanart of characters from IPs they’ve worked on (and with in Eric’s case). My face is obscured by my fan art of a smiling, teary-eyed Donald Duck.

my contribution to the 'School Idol Chronicles! Love Live! 16th Anniversary' zine 🏹 #LLFanZine16th

A portrait of Izumi Katsuragi from Link! Like! Love Live! school idol group Hasunosora Girls’ High School Idol Group in her summer uniform for the ‘School Idol Chronicles! Love Live! 16th Anniversary Zine’. She winks with a gentle smile to the camera with her right hand on her chest, her long black hair swaying in the background. There’s a silhouette effect behind her in her image color, chevalier green.

for his bday donald duck is doing karaoke to ‘ZETTAFLARE!’ #kingdomhearts

My fanart of a gijinka / humanised version of Donald Duck holding out a microphone to the viewer, his face seemingly twisted in rage. This is a reference to his iconic ‘ZETTAFLARE!’ moment in Kingdom Hearts 3, only musically-themed. Why is that I wonder~

person i double-commissioned to mix my vocals since the 31st of dec is trying to take in more work on TL after i’ve been asking for at least a preview on a monthly basis since then and them taking at least a week to only reply to ‘apologise’ (and no previews) 🌚
