wasn't too far gone to forgive himself, but they do put a lot of emphasis on Ambrus being vrakhir for basically no time at all. He's just a little further gone than Coen when they cross each other. That's a really good point!

(look at Anca and Coen's family); it was more that it was odd to me that the thesis of the story seems to be "forgive yourself for your mistakes or they'll kill you one day" and then Ambrus just... Does not have that problem. Seemed odd to me!

Yes, absolutely, it was more that it was a pattern break from a running theme throughout the entire game; Lacra also has very real chains that are not of her own making, but some of them are. Every single vrakhiri is holding themselves back in some way, as well as the major human characters (1/2)

Every vrakhir seems to have some kind of immense guilt or shame they're carrying, except Ambrus, I have not put my finger on what his self imposed chains are. EVERY single one of them blames themselves for something, except him. Do I have a blind spot here
