Alex Norris, the Labour MP for Nottingham North & Kimberley has said that he wouldn’t link a Scottish Independence referendum to a proposed Rejoin the EU referendum. One small problem with this is, he doesn’t have a vote, but 4.2 million Scots do. Twelve years of school leaves want a say too.

The UK Government is considering rejoining the EU. When that happens, it won’t be as it was in 2016 when Brexit happened. There will be no cherrypicking negotiations this time. England will need to get used to joining the Euro as part of membership or accept Scottish Independence. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿😁👍

John Swinney is urging the UK Government to rejoin the EU. Obviously the EU of 2016 doesn’t exist any more. Cherrypicking our re-entry back into the EU may not include saving the pound. That boat sailed in 2016 and the EU would want a concrete guarantee that Brexit isn’t repeated. Scottish Indy.

The Scottish Block Grant from Westminster in 2023 / 2024 was £43 Billion. On the same year Scotland’s GDP was £209 Billion.
