Hey everyone! Starter packs seem to really help with exposure, so I thought I'd make a starter pack for my fellow kiwi artists and creatives. I've already added all the NZ artists I follow, but please comment below with your art if you want to be added as well💚 go.bsky.app/7GMUiBj

a major problem with bluesky is that i can offhandedly remark "i hate drawing, its too hard" and then a sweet old lady will gently encourage me and kindly point me to some useful resources to get started drawing and i dont know what to do with myself

Went to a Paint and Sip session with the fam and tried that thick paint kinda trend, I thought for my first attempt I did pretty good!! Highly recommend, the wine was excellent 😮‍💨✨ #traditionalart #painting

A friend of mine finally got into One Piece, we’ve captured another one lads 🥳 and for her birthday I made a portrait of her with one of her favourite (and mine lol) characters!! Printed it and framed it for her once it was done ❤️ #onepiece #digitalart

I went to a convention earlier this year and sat with a Yoobee representative where he drew portraits of whoever was interested! With permission, I decided to draw a portrait of himself as he worked and this was the result, I was pretty pleased!! ❤️ #overload2024 #traditionalart

And of course, my current banner! I adore how both these headshots came out and will definitely be trying to digitise them sometime!! It’s currently more of a space holder type of banner #traditionalart

This time I wanted to try a more cinematic approach, thinking about background space and scenery, I’ll finish it one of these days! Shaking my fist #digitalart

I definitely want to start working on making more concrete character sheets for my OCs, I’m trying to get rid of my nit-picky perfectionist side by just trying to enjoy the process instead of stressing over the minute details like whether my OC’s eyebrows are aligned 🫠 #digitalart #OC

Was initially trying to work on switching from cartoon to semi-realistic, but struggled a bit to get my mind around it! #digitalart

Silly lil creatures, originally made to be printed into stickers! Ended up being pretty popular, especially the mushroom 🍄 🪵🍂🐸 #digitalart

This was part of a collab that me and a handful of friends did!! The sketch was mine but the line art and the colouring was theirs!! I would absolutely tag them if they had blsky accounts, they’re wonderful ❤️ #artcollab #digitalart

When I started my current job I lost my streak for digital art so I took as much time as I could during work hours to sketch silly little things <3 Don’t tell the boss #traditionalart

Couple of unfinished pieces! Not sure if I’ll ever finish them but it’s always nice to look back at them and ponder 😬 I’ll let my motivation decide where they end up #digitalart

A polaroid type drawing I made as part of a set for one my best friends, I loved how this one in particular came out!! I based it on a photo we took at a Harry Potter quiz night lol 🥰 #digitalart

I was playing around with a concept character based around toys, more specifically (also not really a toy) porcelain dolls/statues! She’s supposed to be somewhat unhinged but matronly <3 #digitalart

I feel like everyone has those accidental masterpieces, like, one day your hand is moving but it’s moving in weirdly all the right ways and suddenly you’ve made something pretty dang cool? This is mine c: P.S there’s a bit of tiddy action, purely artistic, nothing nuanced! #traditionalart

This is a cropped piece (that I should really post uncropped but I don’t follow rules luckily) of a Harry Potter OC I created! Partially based on Howl from Howl’s Moving Castle and the 11th Doctor Who #digitalart #OC
