"The Salmonids found in #SplatoonRaiders look a little redder...and a little more dangerous. There are even a few unique evolutions like this one: Salty Tongue" Great name! #splatoonraiders #splatoon3

On a side note: I have removed ads from the website as they were initially added to help with costs but the few pennies a week were too much and will be used to fund a luxury lifestyle instead 😉 With funding being received they are unnecessary and should make the overall experience more pleasant

I never really thought about that. Already feel bad/awkward asking for money, had to get encouraged by friends to do it 🫣 Your point makes sense though. Thanks to some generous donors, we could be at the goal soon which means it pays for the costs for the next 3 years 🙏

which I used to purchase a 3‑year cloud hosting plan (longer plans work out cheaper). I also covered the annual domain cost myself. The domain is roughly £40 per year, and hosting going forward is likely around £100 per year depending on the plan length.

Huge thanks to everyone who funded the site for 3 years during the original community‑led donation run — hard to believe that was three years ago. Since then, the cost of .ink domains and web hosting has increased. For transparency: the community previously donated around £350

Salmonrun.ink running costs thread: After speaking with a few community members, I’ve decided to check whether there’s interest or support in keeping salmonrun.ink running. The website hosting expires in early June.
