Salmence @salmence.bsky.social · 27/09/2026Humbling myself with a little old gen Monster Hunter before Ascendance comes out, and nobody told me Portable 3rd went so hard 1101
Salmence @salmence.bsky.social · 26/09/2026There's something really nice about seeing an indie game break out, then the creator going hell yeah now I can put so much time into adding quality of life changes and addressing critiques. I think that's something that AAA will never really understand Dressmaker is awesome 1141
Salmence @salmence.bsky.social · 20/09/2026I'm doing a shared Archipelago randomizer with a bunch of people! I'm not live but you can join any of their streams if you'd like to watch. Salmence @salmence.bsky.social · 11/09/2026Currently recording music from the lava caves for the Fields of Mistria, and it's a SHAME the music isn't posted anywhere yet because it's my favorite from the game so far 5230

Salmence @salmence.bsky.social · 08/09/2026One of the fun parts of watching through everyone's reactions to the OoT remake is spotting the exact moment the art style grew on them 180

Salmence @salmence.bsky.social · 03/09/2026So I made a passing comment about how I preferred the Nexusmods site a lot more 2 or 3 years ago. Come to find out today that it was sold a year ago, which has lead to a lot of the bloat the site has now. Old on left, new on right. 0191

Salmence @salmence.bsky.social · 20/08/2026This is really funny because you can tell exactly who they tried to get collabs with and were turned down 030
Salmence @salmence.bsky.social · 18/08/2026The first part of a new Fields of Mistria series is now out! This one will be going month by month, and the goal is to earn all achievements! www.youtube.com/watch?v=OEkP... 2242
Salmence @salmence.bsky.social · 17/08/2026Genuinely, I don't know if I trust Twitch to NOT use my stream for training AI, even with the option turned off. Like what would be the recourse if they did? They'd go "oh sorry" and keep doing it with no legal consequences. 1202

Salmence @salmence.bsky.social · 01/08/2026The endless cycle of creators using AI either for research or art is wild to me. Like genuinely even if you do believe it helps your work cycle or whatever, half of your previous audience is vehemently against it, and your core defenders are now teenage boys who use chatgpt to cheat on schoolwork 4231

Salmence @salmence.bsky.social · 18/07/2026I'm gonna be honest, I'm really surprised at peoples' negative reactions to the card arts. Some of our favorite things from Stardew Valley are grandpa's jank bed and Wumbus, are we really disappointed that the card arts have the same quirks? 7353
Salmence @salmence.bsky.social · 13/07/2026The duality of the Love Island producers to create the most romantic, beautiful experience for a couple, to the point of having complicated artistic shots from the cameras, then for a different couple being like "fuck it send them to the bog" lmao 180

Salmence @salmence.bsky.social · 02/07/2026I want to add on to this that a lot of conveniences of physical game collecting were made by individual people, not big companies. First things I think of are the custom end labels for cartridges or Fangamer making physical copies for indie games that otherwise wouldn't have had them. 1160
Salmence @salmence.bsky.social · 01/07/2026Piracy in the next few years is about to go CRAZY. Reminder that not only can you download games, but you can also burn them to CDs or cartridges yourself. Not always as good as the official thing, but when there is NO official thing... 0184
Salmence @salmence.bsky.social · 26/06/2026While the Steam Summer Sale is a nice break from seeing everything related to video games being priced ridiculously, it's wild seeing a game be 50% off and STILL be $35 2181
