Court allows Orange Order Drumcree parade to go ahead after ‘unprecedented’ 2am hearing jrnl.ie/7174779 I'm not sure I've ever heard of a court passing judgement at 2am. Even in Article 40 applications. There's been a pattern of last minute decisions in this matter which doesn't inspire confidence.

I am getting very fed up with this point coming up in the Áras race. Barristers are not solicitors. If you hold yourself out as being competent to practice a certain area of law, you don't get to pick and choose your clients. You take the work as it comes to you.

Solidarity with my former colleagues. Least said, soonest mended on my behalf. But this was not a great place to work. The staff are hugely talented, and even more rare - they genuinely care deeply about the work. The situation was difficult when I worked there years ago and has not improved at all
