The likes of you and I, privileged, literate and globally connected, probably could not find a big enough rock if we tried. But the majority of Africans lack these advantages. This is how they live…each day a struggle for survival. They are vulnerable to exploiters promising work overseas.

I love the penguin memes but let’s not forget small countries like Lesotho. No penguins there - just sheep and goats - but this trade war devastates poor nations just as USAID is taken from them. Penguins can survive (in the Southern ocean) but many people can’t survive Trump.
