I don't think it's possible to create any sort of classifieds without these guys. They are a staple. They are ingrained. They are the foundation. Also, if you want to pay to smell someone you should be clear about what the smell provider can expect you to be doing/wearing during the smelling...

very gen z I imagine a stilted robotic voice with heavy vocal fry passionately sharing a video essay about this specifically niche aesthetic she just discovered. Something like cozy-liminal-core. Another person walks in. They say hi and give a light wave. She avoids eye contact and quickly leaves.

Google's AI is not having my judgmental shit.
Screenshot of Google AI summary: "There seems to be a correlation between sharp-angled facial...

A Search Labs | Al Overview

The observation that there seems to be a correlation between sharp- angled facial hair and "douchebaggery" is likely rooted in societal perceptions and stereotypes rather than an actual link between facial hair and negative personality traits.

Here's a breakdown of why this perception might exist:

1. Facial Hair and Perceptions of Aggression & Masculinity:

Facial hair, particularly beards, has been historically and culturally linked to masculinity, dominance, and even aggression.

Studies show that people perceive bearded men as more aggressive and dominant compared to clean-shaven men.

Certain facial hair styles, especially those with sharp angles and defined lines (e.g., goatee, Van Dyke), can further accentuate these perceptions of dominance and even arrogance.

2. Douchebag Stereotypes:

The term "douchebag" is often associated with arrogance, self- centeredness, and a lack of consideration for others.

There's a stereotype of the "douchebag" being overly concerned with appearance and projecting an image of confidence and dominance.

3. Cultural & Societal Associations:

Popular culture and media often portray characters with specific facial hair styles as arrogant, shallow, or generally unpleasant.

This can lead to the formation of stereotypes where certain facial hair styles are associated with negative personality traits.

Important Considerations:

Correlation vs. Causation: It's crucial to remember that correlation does not equal causation. Just because there might be a perceived link between sharp-angled facial hair and "douchebaggery" doesn't mean that one causes the other.

Stereotypes are Harmful: Stereotyping individuals based on their appearance can be detrimental and inaccurate.

Facial Hair is a Personal Choice: Ultimately, facial hair is a form of self- expression, and individuals should not be judged based on their ch…

It's the first time I've been in the southeastern US during the springtime in years. Forgot about these. They fall off Magnolia trees after protecting the buds in the winter. You'll find them on the ground amongst fallen leaves, and they look and feel like a soft, furry dog's ear on the outer side.
