I'm sentimental and cutesy, watching Star Wars on May 4th. My fave of the originals growing up (we had the trilogy on VHS) was RETURN OF THE JEDI, but tonight, I'm watching A NEW HOPE. Spoiler: it's great. Second spoiler: the good guys win. Third spoiler: Han is so hot. #starwars #maythefourth

I've done both. While writing the first draft of my first novel for NaNoWriMo, I literally had no idea how I wanted it to end, so I just wrote. It was a good experiment for me, though none of the ending of that story made it to the final draft. I'm generally a plotter now. #kidlitchat

Buying banned books. I’m a big library girlie but I try to buy (instead of check out) books that I know are being targeted this way. Speaking up about how wild book banning is (my hometown has had a wave of censorship and I try to shut that narrative down as soon as it comes to me). #kidlitchat
