17/31 Beast of the Bayou📱4⭐️- This was a quick/spicy novella. Unexpectedly violent, but he is a ‘beast’🤷🏾‍♀️. Solomon was so sweet though. #Booksky #Blackbooksky #monsterromance #werewolves

16/31 The Seventh Bride📱🎧4.5⭐️-when all else fails I know I can rely on T Kingfisher for a good time. Her fairy tales are so fun and her humor just resonates with me. Rhea was smart & lucky just as the crone advised her to be. #Booksky #fantasy

15/31 Divine Oaths 📖🎧2.5⭐️ I haven’t been enjoying myself these last few days. Imma have to go find a book by one of my reliable authors. This was a poorly executed good idea. I should’ve loved it but it never really got going. #darkacademia #Booksky #Blackbooksky #fantasy

14/31 Seduced by Stone 📱2.75⭐️- I’m disappointed. It could’ve been so good. It was dealing with serious topics & had depth. Once she met the gargoyles it fell apart. The monsters were flat, the romance was 👎🏾. All the things she’d gone thru were barely mentioned again. #Blackbooksky #monsterromance

13/31 Fated to the Gargoyle📱2.75⭐️- this lost a few cool points because the FMC tried to work as a waitress even though her fated was wealthy. I did enjoy this world and the gargoyle lore. The mystery is unresolved but it’s part of interconnected stand alones. #Booksky #monsterromance #Blackbooksky

12/31 2 parts Sugar, 1 Part Murder 📖🎧3.25⭐️ -this was a super #cozy #mystery with found family and self discovery. The dog being around food and the constant mention of drool was a bit much for me but I enjoyed the story. The MC was adorable. #Booksky #Blackbooksky

11/31 60 More Days with the Kraken 📖4⭐️- 2nd chance romance, not too spicy, excellent yearning and chemistry. Marked down because the mystery element was a bit boring but overall a sweet lesson in forgiveness (no cheating involved) #Booksky #Blackbooksky #monster #romance

10/31 The Isle in the Silver Sea 📖🎧 2.5⭐️- this wasn’t for me. It was a creative idea but I was bored most of the book. I didn’t like one of the MCs at all and hated how the other MC was treated. To me the constant side quests ruined the pacing . #Booksky #Diversebooksky #fantasy #sapphic

I rarely reread. But I’m almost done with Vicious and 1/2 done with Isle in the Silver Sea. Working on an arc of Merciful Carnage (love it so far) and I’m at the beginning of A Clash of Carnivores. I’m having a great time 😊

6/31 Destiny’s Edge 📖4⭐️- The traumas that Chi endured & how resistant they made her to loving herself & recognizing that she was loved by others was so compelling to read. The revenge plot was intriguing. The romance was the weakest point d/t Sangya being insufferable. But Chi loves her so 🤷🏾‍♀️#Booksky
