His boyfriend Cavalier de Pique sǝpɐdS ɟo ʇɥɓᴉuꓘ #Ribeyrolles #ArtDeco #Niss #Lucien

Niss poses on a tarot card in an Art Deco style. The image is mirrored, and he has six arms. He conceals his genitals with his clasped hands. One hand rests on his thigh, and the other on the knee of his double. His thighs intertwine with those of his double. A golden swan traverses the edge, and Niss delicately holds various parts of it: the head in one hand, the tip of a wing with his fingers. A luminous spiderweb forms the background.

April 9. 1904 Dad died. Mom was crying so I cried. I barely knew him. I don't think he knew me either. I just know that we had all we needed thanks to him. #Lucien #Ribeyrolles

9yo Lucien at his father's funeral, dressed in church clothes. A tear rolls down his cheek.

Niss reading the newspaper. The title says "The Daily Ribeyrolles, Tuesday, May 16. 1916. THE WACO HORROR | 15.000 SAW SNAKE LYNCHED AND BURNED". He's about to cry until he hears Pen (he doesn't appear on the drawing) saying "Hey love- you woke up early". The drawing focus on Niss look.

The news relates a real event that happened in 1916 : the lynching of Jesse Washington. More info in the comments.

This drawing depicts the instant before the last drawing I made in quote: Breakfast in peace. There are lyrics scrolling along the drawing based on a french music called "Breakfast in peace" by Stephan Eicher:
"I leave the morning paper on a chair
The news is bad wherever it comes from
This time I won't tell him the latest massacre
I'll keep to myself what the world inspires in me
He asked me to let him have breakfast in peace."

2nd panel: Pen sitting at the table with his coffe, half awake: "Sigh~ Will you let me have my breakfast in peace?"
3rd panel: Niss hugging and kissing Pen: "Nope! <3"
4th panel: Pen, smiling to Niss: "Will you have yours with me at least? <3"
Niss: "Sure!"

The pianist's groupie #pentious #sirpentious #ribeyrolles #hazbinhotel #arackniss #pentniss #1920s

Pen playing the piano and singing with Niss an alternate version of a popular french music, 'La groupie du pianiste' by Michel Berger. An anachronistic song because the scene takes place in the 1920s, I turned the lyrics in an old fashioned way (and it sounds a bit gayer).
