Salacious Dumb @salaciousdumb.bsky.social · 14/11/2025Just watched “The Elder” and this is now a Tajin Crosser stan account 150
Salacious Dumb @salaciousdumb.bsky.social · 13/11/2025Hard to believe it’s been 5 years since “The Heiress.” I can still remember how I felt watching the episode for the first time very well, including being incredibly excited the rest of the day. It also features one of Bo Katan’s greatest and coldest lines. 1121
Salacious Dumb @salaciousdumb.bsky.social · 12/11/2025For my kid it was always preferable to the onslaught of only Darth Vader, Stormtrooper and other generic OT merch which was all we saw before 000
Salacious Dumb @salaciousdumb.bsky.social · 12/11/2025Now it’s time to look forward to what the future holds, with the movie in our sights and more experiences that we can enjoy together thanks to this story, these characters and this entire franchise, all of which have meant so much. Happy Birthday, Mando! 032
Salacious Dumb @salaciousdumb.bsky.social · 12/11/2025This is an impressive achievement by Favreau, Filoni and all who have worked on this show, something that I think has gone under-appreciated so far. Of course, the show launched live-action SW television and brought along some technical achievements similar to the trilogies. 131
Salacious Dumb @salaciousdumb.bsky.social · 12/11/2025There have been many hours of imaginative play, crafts, storytelling and other activities inspired by this show that have brought us much joy. We got my parents to watch with us, and all of a sudden three generations of family all watched The Mandalorian together with equal enjoyment. 110
Salacious Dumb @salaciousdumb.bsky.social · 12/11/2025This ushered in a common ground of entertainment and stories that the whole family enjoyed together, our own little Clan of Three digesting these modern myths with wonder and delight, in our own individual ways and also together. Since then, it has been a constant beacon for us. 110
Salacious Dumb @salaciousdumb.bsky.social · 12/11/2025Once we exhausted our many rewatches of Season 1, we looked to some of the other content to see if we could scratch the itch, and found a treasure trove of shows, movies, video games and books that would come to sustain us through the impending Covid years and beyond. 110
Salacious Dumb @salaciousdumb.bsky.social · 12/11/2025It helped solidify and encourage aspects of myself and my relationship to my kid in ways that I’m not sure would’ve happened (at least in quite the same way) if it hadn’t been for this show. It also got my whole household into the Star Wars fold full time. 120
Salacious Dumb @salaciousdumb.bsky.social · 12/11/2025With our young toddler, we could relate to both the characters and the deeper themes. Art can have a way of helping us learn more about ourselves, the world, and our interactions within it. The Mandalorian ended up helping me through my time as a new father and all that entails. 120
Salacious Dumb @salaciousdumb.bsky.social · 12/11/2025By the end of the first episode, everything had lined up. I was hooked, and I remember “rewinding” back to the part where Mando blasts IG-11 to save Grogu a couple times, just to savor it. By the end of “The Sin,” we were all in. The show appeared at the right time for us. 130
Salacious Dumb @salaciousdumb.bsky.social · 12/11/2025In fall 2019, my wife and I were parents of an almost-two-year-old. D+ had just launched and we figured there might be some stuff our daughter would be into, like Moana, Frozen, etc. We were up late one night and decided to give the brand new show The Mandalorian a try. 120
Salacious Dumb @salaciousdumb.bsky.social · 12/11/2025I fell away from the franchise for a decade or so, and some other sci-fi properties held my interest. I still had my SW stuff though, and thought about it sometimes, but hadn’t kept up much and I suppose I just hadn’t hit the time and place where everything lined up yet. Until… 120
Salacious Dumb @salaciousdumb.bsky.social · 12/11/2025I also remember seeing The Phantom Menace in theaters in ’99. After that, my memories of Star Wars drop off a bit. I wouldn’t categorize me or my family as huge fans at that time; we all enjoyed it but it was also just a huge part of the culture in those years and hard to miss. 120
Salacious Dumb @salaciousdumb.bsky.social · 12/11/2025Like most 90s kids, I was familiar with SW. I remember RotJ being watched often on TV, and we had the VHS SE set. My bedroom bookshelves had some SW books (incl. the Young Jedi Knights series), and my siblings and I would turn the lights off and play with our toy lightsabers. 120
Salacious Dumb @salaciousdumb.bsky.social · 12/11/2025Happy 6th Anniversary to The Mandalorian, the show that helped to ignite a Star Wars fandom for me and my household. It’s been a focal point for my family over the last six years and we are counting down the days to the movie. Here’s what the show means to me (🧵) 2236
Salacious Dumb @salaciousdumb.bsky.social · 11/09/2025I have been waiting eagerly for something like this. Seems ripe for storytelling 010
Salacious Dumb @salaciousdumb.bsky.social · 09/09/2025I loved that book. Nice epilogue to the High Republic and it’s my favorite version of Vernestra. 030
Salacious Dumb @salaciousdumb.bsky.social · 08/09/2025Mine are probably (in no particular order): Superman 25 Batman 89 Batman Returns Guardians of the Galaxy Trilogy Batman TAS X-Men TAS The Batman X2: X-Men United Peacemaker Daredevil S1-3 (haven’t seen Born Again yet) 010
Salacious Dumb @salaciousdumb.bsky.social · 07/09/2025Awesome Galactic Moments card in the SWCT app this week. 061
Salacious Dumb @salaciousdumb.bsky.social · 07/09/2025Exactly. I feel like that applies for 90% of the “criticisms” I see these days, especially about Mando for some reason. 030
Salacious Dumb @salaciousdumb.bsky.social · 07/09/2025even that has a different scope than when he had the crest. 130
Salacious Dumb @salaciousdumb.bsky.social · 07/09/2025At this point, Din was not primarily focused on bounty hunting. He was trying to procure a ship for two reasons: 1) to see Grogu (eventually leading to Grogu returning, of course) and 2) going to Mandalore to redeem himself. Din doesn’t think about bounty hunting again until the end of S3, and 130
Salacious Dumb @salaciousdumb.bsky.social · 07/09/2025What a great scene. I know the Crest will always be classic but I love the N-1 scenes and dogfights. 050
Salacious Dumb @salaciousdumb.bsky.social · 07/09/2025I’m a day late but can’t believe it’s been two years since “Fallen Jedi.” As much as I love the first three episodes, this one is where the show really started cooking for me. The fights, the scenery of Seatos, Sabine’s decision, Peter Ramsey’s direction, the ending… all make for great viewing. 1130
Salacious Dumb @salaciousdumb.bsky.social · 07/09/2025Yeah Twitter has become such a cesspool of weird drama, so decided to give this another try! 340
Salacious Dumb @salaciousdumb.bsky.social · 05/09/2025Such a great game. I hope the Switch 2 release helps more people be introduced to it. 020
Salacious Dumb @salaciousdumb.bsky.social · 05/09/2025Can’t wait for the ND-5 book coming out next year. I love the Outlaws characters and hope we continue seeing them in other media if we don’t get a sequel. 1194
Salacious Dumb @salaciousdumb.bsky.social · 24/05/2025Watching the Mandalorian & Grogu Celebration trailer again just to feel something 2112
Salacious Dumb @salaciousdumb.bsky.social · 07/05/2025Recently rewatched the first and last (for now) episodes of The Mandalorian back-to-back. Viewing them this way really drove home the growth of the characters and the increased scope of the series. Really great stuff. Can’t wait for the movie next year. 2364
Salacious Dumb @salaciousdumb.bsky.social · 28/04/2025Unfortunate that the usage of “slop” has become a red flag for pretentious, sciolistic whiners 180
Salacious Dumb @salaciousdumb.bsky.social · 28/04/2025Seriously, I adore all their dialogues. Also the planting in that game is actual therapy 010
Salacious Dumb @salaciousdumb.bsky.social · 28/04/2025I love those both so much too, along with Ashe and DD! And Pili, and Tulakt… okay, everyone. 100
Salacious Dumb @salaciousdumb.bsky.social · 28/04/2025Happy 2nd Birthday to Jedi Survivor, one of my favorite Star Wars properties of all time. It expands on Fallen Order in nearly every way, and the characters mean so much to me. Survivor also has possibly the greatest cast of Glup Shittos ever seen in SW. 0735
Salacious Dumb @salaciousdumb.bsky.social · 28/04/2025Finally back on here. Got a new phone and couldn’t log back in for a while. Sorry if I missed anyone reaching out! 4110
Salacious Dumb @salaciousdumb.bsky.social · 05/04/2025Love that idea; would also love to get some Tarre Vizsla content 110
Salacious Dumb @salaciousdumb.bsky.social · 05/04/2025It’s crazy how far they’ve come since TCW, even S7. Bad Batch looked more incredible every season 110
Salacious Dumb @salaciousdumb.bsky.social · 05/04/2025Interesting idea! Honestly I’m fine with whatever they decide to do, but something in a different era would definitely cook with this animation. My own bias is towards some Mandalorian content with this style. 110
Salacious Dumb @salaciousdumb.bsky.social · 05/04/2025Lucasfilm’s animation just keeps looking more and more beautiful. Can’t wait for Tales of the Underworld. 5364
Salacious Dumb @salaciousdumb.bsky.social · 25/03/2025So true. Probably the most emotional SW ending out there, pound-for-pound. 020
