Saket Narayan @saket.me · 01/04/2026It's interesting how clearly Google vs Apple shows up in something as small as virtual devices frames. iOS simulator: sharp, natively rendered Android emulator: transparent PNG, rough corners with jagged edges 1103
Saket Narayan @saket.me · 09/03/2026The answer was no, so I'm building this myself as v2 of github.com/saket/swipe. Here's a first draft: 0171

Saket Narayan @saket.me · 04/06/2025Tried to surprise my wife by arriving early in the country, but Bump, an app I use to share my location with her, gave me away even though I had paused it. Turns out "pause" just blocks you from using the app, while it keeps running in the background. Lesson learned! 3100

Saket Narayan @saket.me · 12/11/2024We used to have iMacs at our previous company and they were the absolute best. They were cheaper than MacBooks, performance was unmatched, and the 5K display was gorgeous. I understand the convenience of having a portable machine, but I wish I could go back to desktops. 080
Saket Narayan @saket.me · 07/11/2024My wife did, on her iPhone 14 Pro. It has zero edits! (minus the phone's own post processing. I took some photos with my Pixel Fold as well, but they came out slightly washed out compared to what we were seeing with our eyes: 110
