Today, the BOA passed BB75, a step toward a more data-driven approach to traffic safety in St. Louis. 🚸 This shifts traffic-calming decisions from alders and toward pros in the future STL DOT, which will begin work in 2029. Use the link in my bio to read the full bill!

The BOA endorsed SWU and their call for a fair union contract by passing Resolution 127. I’m proud to stand with working people and #BoycottStarbucks until baristas win a fair contract. Starbucks’ workers are taking on a multi-billion dollar company. Let them know they aren’t doing it alone. ✊

The Earnings Tax also played a critical role in our financial health this year. Thanks to St. Louis voters for renewing it this spring and protecting this essential source of revenue. And thanks to Budget Director Payne and Comptroller Baringer for their work on this year-end report! (2/2)

Another year, another budget surplus! 💰 As a member of the Board of Estimate & Apportionment, its my responsibility to be a good steward of taxpayer dollars. This surplus puts our City in a stronger position to invest in critical capital improvements and deliver more reliable city services. (1/2)

St. Louis is a union town, and when workers stand together, our entire community reaps the rewards. It was a pleasure to stand in solidarity with Alamo Drafthouse employees ahead of their union vote next week! People over profits. Always. ✊

Today, I had the pleasure of joining a bus tour of the proposed #GreenLineBRT route. 🚌 The proposed route serves our city's densest neighborhoods and runs twice the length of the original light rail proposal at less than half the cost. For more information on the proposal, visit greenlinebrt.com!

Since taking office, I’ve made cutting unnecessary red tape a priority. Expanding access for food trucks will not only make it easier for small business owners to succeed, but also make our city more vibrant—particularly Downtown. www.stltoday.com/news/local/g...

Voters choose their representatives, not the other way around. I’m thrilled with the MO Supreme Court’s 7-0 decision to endorse democracy over partisanship. Missourians now will have a chance to vote on President Trump’s unrepresentative congressional map in November. www.stlpr.org/government-p...

In 2023, the BOA created the Right to Counsel program, providing legal assistance to renters facing eviction. While the program has seen success, it's been severely underfunded. This year, we fought hard to increase its funding and succeeded. www.stlpr.org/government-p...
